FlexStaff is seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Paralegal for the in-house legal department of a leading manufacturing company. This pivotal role offers a consistent three-day work week (100% in-office) and broad exposure across diverse legal areas. Qualifications:
- Paralegal certification (preferred).
- Minimum of eight (8) years paralegal experience.
- Experience and/or familiarity with local, state and federal laws, rules, regulations and
Court procedures. - Working knowledge of and experience using Legal Practice Management Software.
Key Responsibilities: You will play a critical role in providing essential paralegal support across a wide range of practice areas, contributing significantly to the department's efficiency and success. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare legal documents, including, but not limited to, contracts (Distributor,
- Supply, Vendor Agreements, etc.), correspondence, memos, charts and timelines.
- Provide administrative support to the Legal Department by establishing, organizing and maintaining files, calendars and deadlines, in addition to project and task management.
- Conduct investigations, research and analysis of legal claims and matters.
- Communicate with and serve as a liaison for internal Company departments to ensure Company goals are attained.
- Communicate with outside counsel and consultants to navigate, facilitate, address and monitor complex matters.
- Other duties may be assigned, as needed, or required.
