The Director of HR Data Management leads the strategy and maintenance of HR data governance, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance. This role collaborates with HR, IT, Finance, and Audit teams to oversee audit processes, data quality, documentation, and the HR Data Governance Council. Responsibilities include driving improvements in data management, ensuring audit readiness, and integrating data governance throughout the organization. Minimum Job Requirements Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience. Critical Skills -Deep understanding of HR data & fields - In-depth understanding of data governance principles, best practices, and compliance requirements. - Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and driving resolution of complex data-related issues. - Proficiency in data analysis and quality assessment techniques. - Experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday) and data management tools. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships and influence stakeholders at all levels. - Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Experience working with auditors and ensuring compliance with data-related regulations and policies. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
