Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Lockbox Associate to support commercial lockbox operations. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, ideal for someone with experience in mailroom operations and lockbox processing. You'll be operating the OPEX Falcon machine for most of the day, so comfort with standing or sitting for extended periods is essential. Key Responsibilities * Operate the OPEX Falcon mail-opening machine to process commercial lockbox deposits. * Sort, open, and batch incoming mail for processing. * Perform corrections and ensure accurate deposit handling. * Respond to customer inquiries and conduct research as needed. * Bill customers monthly based on services rendered. * Maintain confidentiality and adhere to internal policies. * Support other commercial operations as needed. Required Skills & Experience * OPEX Falcon machine experience (not Eagle). * Lockbox processing and mailroom experience. * Proficiency with computers and attention to screen prompts during machine operation. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * High attention to detail and ability to work independently. * High school diploma or equivalent. Work Environment * Quiet office setting in the lower level of the facility. * Team includes 1 supervisor, 2 operations associates, and 1 other temp. * Full kitchen and vending machines available on-site. * Business casual dress code. * Headphones allowed during shift (music/podcasts permitted). Perks & Potential * Opportunity to convert to a permanent role after the contract period. * Annual performance-based pay increases once permanent. * Closed on major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. All other holidays are regular workdays. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
