Warehouse Lead - Hummel Grafton, WI

If you have an eye for accuracy and take pride in your work, this could be the right opportunity for you. Hummel is adding a full time Warehouse Lead to their growing team in Grafton, WI.

Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the management of the warehouse pick/pack operations. Ensure that accurate, timely, productive order processing is accomplished.
  • Pick and pack daily orders as they come through the pick queue within Navision or warehouse management system.
  • Responsible for packing the order in a professional way, and then weighing, measuring, and labeling the order for shipment to the customer.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds safely.
  • Logging & scanning in the receipt, sorting, counting, and stocking inbound shipments.
  • Receiving, logging, counting and restocking product returns from customers who have provided a certified Return Authorization. The ability to assess returns as to their quality and condition to be able to be restocked and credited back on the customer's account.
  • Assuring that each item sold is properly labeled with US sizing. Repackaging items which have been judged to be resalable but need a new package and label.
  • Support of the heat press operations as needed.
  • Ensure that the warehouse facility is maintained as a clean, productive, safe place.
  • Implement daily routines which accomplish the cutting down and removal of old boxes, sweeping and daily resetting of product into the picking locations.
  • Delegate workload and encourage the clean, safe flow of products.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocol.
  • Work within warehouse management to 'receive' product in as it arrives to the warehouse.
  • Oversee stock bin locations within warehouse management to accurately reflect what is on the shelves. Determine when it is appropriate to transfer stock to replenish picking bins.
  • Daily use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS), assist in maintaining the bin locations as defined by the system. The WMS will then be used in the accurate picking of items for the order fulfillment of outbound shipments.
  • Assist in ordering shipping supplies and maintaining the shipping computers.
  • Commits to maintaining a personal image in the market, a reflection of hummel, with a positive, helpful tone, a commitment to the service of our customer base and in a spirit of 'changing the world through sport'. It is every employee's duty to work within the budget provided, and to trim costs wherever possible to promote profit.
