Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid. Dedicated to serving those who defend the US and warfighters, Nisga'a MOSTT offers Military Operations support and Specialized Tactical Training (MOSTT). Nisga'a MOSTT's services include aviation and military training, cybersecurity, intelligence gathering and analysis, and simulation and exercise support, as well as aviation flight logistics support and unmanned aerial vehicle support. Summary: The Senior Logistics Analyst / Sustainment SME will support Army Futures Command (AFC) Sustainment Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate (SCDID) in advancing Army modernization efforts. This role involves high-level coordination with cross-functional teams (CFTs), program managers, and sustainment stakeholders to assess and integrate logistics readiness and sustainment implications across the Army Modernization Enterprise.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Participate in Army Operational (AO) level Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Working Groups (WGs), contributing logistics expertise to modernization initiatives.
- Evaluate sustainment doctrinal and modernization documents, identifying support impacts and conducting DOTMLPF-P analysis.
- Collaborate with AFC CDIDs, PMs, Quartermaster, Ordnance, Transportation, SSI, HRC, JAG, JMC, and other Centers of Excellence to align logistics with modernization priorities.
- Assist in planning and assessing DOTMLPF-P initiatives integrated into operational exercises (Live, Constructive, Simulated) to enhance training and interoperability.
- Provide expert analysis and assessments for logistics readiness and requirements IPTs, identifying challenges in transitioning from current to future force structures.
- Work closely with AFC SCDID Integration and Assessments Branch and external SMEs to interpret and substantiate sustainment impacts of modernization efforts.
- Prepare comment resolution matrices (CRMs) for document reviews and submit detailed trip reports assessing meetings and their alignment with AFC SCDID objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of Army modernization processes and DOTMLPF-P framework.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with operational exercises and capability development processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience
- Experience working with Army CFTs, CDIDs, and sustainment organizations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
