Job Overview:
Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Document Control Technician supports the various Quality Management System (QMS) elements at the facility.

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct daily review of the Device History Record (DHR) for all production work orders.

  • Resolve discrepancies in documentation, counts, parameters, and other relevant details.

  • Perform daily lot release on all shipments.

  • Track the status and certification of all lots.

  • Provide support for New Product Introductions (NPI).

  • Assist in Internal and External audits, as required.

  • Respond to customer material inquiries.

  • Support projects and other Quality Assurance activities as assigned.

  • Set up and maintain all training programs.

  • Archive Quality Management System QMS documents.

  • Work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Preferences:


  • Proficiency in MS Office applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook


    Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.

  • Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence in English.

  • Capable of performing basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, as well as draw and interpret bar graphs.

  • Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram formats.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask effectively.

  • Good work ethic (punctuality in returning from breaks and lunch, commitment to achieving work standards).

  • Team player who fosters a respectful and collaborative environment by assisting coworkers and sharing ideas as appropriate.



Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

  • Fully site based in Salt Lake City, Utah
