Position Type : Full timeType Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education)Education Desired : Bachelor of Commerce/BusinessJob Description FIS Management Services, LLC seeks a Senior Implementation Conversion Analysts in Jacksonville, FL to work with the Business Analyst to understand business problems, review, and analyze system specifications and also develops, publishes, and implements software quality assurance plans. Test and maintain complex programs and also translate functional requirements and specifications into documented test plans, cases, and steps. Test customized software against customer specific needs sharing reports and application specific data with customers that reflect how conversion data will be processed and will also review conversion results, including reports, balancing, data load, software changes with client to refine and confirm requirements. Obtain formal customer acceptance of results and examine client processes, forms, and reports and determine operational needs and documents as well as what software will do and all related processes, forms, reports, to be used after conversion is complete. Develop new procedures with the client to ensure FIS software is tested appropriately. Carefully examine data and reports to make sure conversion is proceeding correctly. Run test scripts with various data to see how new or customized transactions process through the software and verify and validate accuracy of data through the generation of a variety of reports. Validation may include completion of prior system to FIS balancing. Provide expertise to answer questions and guide clients in the use of the system throughout project. Conduct trainer sessions to instruct and train internal customers and employees or external customers on changes, new systems, or new procedures. Review the conversion results, including reports, balancing of systems, balancing system conversion to associated General Ledger accounts, errors with the customer and obtains client sign-off. Participate in post-conversion maintenance potentially including error resolution, system or data changes and balancing adjustments. Coordinate and support the completion of post-conversion maintenance, including error resolution, system or data changes and balancing adjustments and also other related duties assigned as needed.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in any field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered: analyzing the US Retirement Plan system including 401k retirement plan administration, laws and governance; identifying business requirements and client specifications to determine needs for testing approach; performing analysis, translation of business requirements and complex specifications; creating test plans and test cases that will be utilized to validate complex specifications within FIS Retirement Omni applications; executing testing of customized software against customer specific needs, sharing reports and application specific data with customers that reflect how conversion data will be processed; utilizing components including COBOL, Omni Script, Shell scripts, JCL, DB2, and VSAM to perform Batch application testing; and coordinating reviews of testing results including reports, balancing, data load, and software changes with clients to refine and confirm requirements and obtain formal customer acceptance of results.
