Mission Solution Architect

Axiologic Solutions is hiring a Mission Solution Architect to design technical and management solutions that will address critical customer needs and requirements. The ideal candidate is always looking ahead, has strong interpersonal and time management skills, and is driven to design solutions that support mission outcomes, with recent and highly relevant experience designing proven technology solutions in support of intelligence programs. The Mission Solution Architect will interact with customers, industry, and Axiologic personnel regularly to anticipate and address changing requirements and technological capabilities and integrate these into products spanning the business lifecycle.

Required Duties:

Collaboration with Customers, Industry, and Axiologic Stakeholders: Collaboration with stakeholders is a critical aspect of developing robust and well-informed technical solutions. The Mission Solution Architect will engage with SMEs throughout the business lifecycle to draft, refine, and validate the technical approach. This includes:

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Participate in customer and industry forums and educational opportunities to identify evolving trends and capabilities, determine how these impact customer missions and programs, and synthesize these within business opportunities.
  • Schedule, organize and lead regular meetings and workshops with SMEs to gather insights and validate technical decisions, and disseminate meeting notes and recommendations/findings.
  • Lead collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs), project managers, and other stakeholders to gather input and gain consensus on the design of the solution to assure fit with overall win strategy.
  • Participate in capture and proposal strategy sessions and contribute to the development of win themes and differentiators.
  • Information Synthesis:
  • Integrate SME input into the technical solution, ensuring that it reflects the latest industry knowledge and best practices.
  • Synthesize technical insights from SMEs to enhance the solution's credibility and depth.
  • Author white papers, reports, and informational pieces.

Solution Design and Development: The Mission Solution Architect will be responsible for designing a comprehensive technical solution that addresses all customer and mission requirements. This includes:

  • Requirements Analysis:
  • Conduct a detailed analysis of past and current government documentation, open-source intel, customer intel, market intel, and competitive intel to understand the client's needs and technical requirements.
  • Validate the requirements and develop questions / suggestions for follow-up with the customers and staff.
  • Collaborate with business opportunity teams to gather and verify additional requirements.
  • Technical Approach Development:
  • Identify potential technical approaches and assess the pros and cons of each for consideration by reviewers/decision-makers.
  • Draft a detailed technical approach, including methodologies, technologies, tools, and processes that will be used.
  • Demonstrate that the approach is feasible and reasonable.
  • Provide clear rationales for the chosen approach, including feasibility within the customer's environment, benefits/outcomes of the approach, reasonableness, how it meets the customer and mission requirements, and long-term sustainability or adaptability of the approach to changing needs over the life of the contract.

Proposal Content Contribution: The Mission Solution Architect will ensure the technical narratives that describe the proposed solution(s) are comprehensive, clear, and compelling. This includes:

  • Technical Narrative Writing:
  • Write and review technical sections of proposal artifacts, ensuring clarity, coherence, and compliance.
  • Develop diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to enhance the presentation of the technical solution.
  • Assumptions and Risks Identification:
  • Identify key assumptions underlying the technical solution.
  • Assess and document potential risks and mitigation strategies.

Review Cycles: The Mission Solution Architect will work closely with the business opportunity teams to integrate the technical solution into capture and proposal activities. This includes:

  • Internal Reviews and Integration:
  • Participate in internal reviews (e.g., Blue, Pink, Red, and Gold Team reviews) to provide feedback on the technical sections.
  • Ensure the final integration of the technical solution is seamless and enhances the offer submitted to the customer.

TS/SCI is highly desired for someone applying to this role

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Proven expertise designing relevant technical and management solutions across a wide range of technological needs, e.g., cloud/data environments, data management and digital engineering capabilities, and large-scale system engineering.
  2. At least 5 years of proven and recent experience designing relevant technical and management solutions for federal government customers.
  3. Recent experience working on a federal government program.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and desire to regularly interact with various stakeholders to understand needs and requirements.
  5. Exceptional ability to quickly analyze requirements and problem statements and synthesize findings into easily digestible sound bites and documents.
  6. Strong flexibility to support multiple ongoing efforts and pivot to changing requirements.
  7. Self-starter who can work autonomously and be an exceptional team player.
  8. Degree or certifications in relevant technological capabilities. Higher years of experience in relevant fields may be substituted for formal educational requirements.
  9. Willingness and ability to travel to meet with stakeholders.
