Job Title: Configuration Manager/SCCM

SUMMARY
The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) provides Information Technology (IT) support to PEO MS which is a Continental United States (CONUS) organization. The OCIO provides centralized life cycle management, direction, guidance, and support for the acquisition, sustainment, maintainability, supportability, and implementation of the PEO, Information Mission Area (IMA). PEO MS is an approved Data Center providing hosting to multiple organizations, Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) throughout the US Army Acquisition community.
System Administrator: SCCM/MECM/Entra, Workstation Image creation/maintenance, STIGs, Group policy management, Vulnerability remediation, in-depth troubleshooting.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Daily use of SCCM in order to create application packages, deliver software updates, manage devices, and creating misc. reports.
*Remediate vulnerabilities on end user machines that were discovered via ACAS scans.
*Review and implement workstation related STIGs on a quarterly basis.
*Participate in activities related to achieving ATOs (Authority to Operate) in support of IA Team
*Review and implement/modify group policy when necessary.
*Administer and provide configuration management services for workstation images using SCCM/MECM.
*Responsible for effectively tracking, logging, categorizing, and maintaining changes made against the accepted baseline(s) standards.
*Perform activities for configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits to include software updates and licensing.
*Utilize automated tools provided by the government to maintain software information that addresses the software product name, version, type, and licensing status.
*Develops, distributes, and tracks all change packages resulting from approved Configuration Control Board action
*Provide configuration management services for system administration support activities and to provide support to the Customer Support Team

WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental Conditions
*Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
Strength Demands
*Sedentary - 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
