Responsibilities

Position Overview

Sierra Lobo is seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Developer to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of apps in our SharePoint environment. This role will focus on building and supporting enterprise wide and contract / department specific apps, workflows, forms and integrations that meet business needs and comply with organizational and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SharePoint development with the ability to optimize performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

    Design, develop, deploy, and maintain SharePoint Lists, Document Libraries, Dashboard pages and Logical Forms.
  • Build and customize sites, site collections, and content types.
  • Create and support custom workflows using NITRO Studio, or equivalent tools.
  • Manage and troubleshoot newly developed and existing apps.
  • Monitor app health, performance, and usage ensuring high availability.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure all solutions follow organizational security and compliance standards, including NIST SP 800-171 / CMMC level 2 requirements where applicable.
  • Provide technical documentation, user guides, and training where needed.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or relevant experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in SharePoint development or similar content management system development.
  • Experience with content management software, development, usage and structure.
  • Strong knowledge of inheritance-based permission structures, authentication methods, and role-based access controls.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving app issues.
  • Strong communication, customer service and documentation skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SharePoint, or any major content management infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven environments, including NIST SP 800-171 / CMMC level 2.
  • Experience with REST API and CSOM for advanced integrations.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and jQuery.
  • Able to understand JSON and XML structures for data manipulation and app configurations.
  • Experience with workflow solutions such as NITRO Studio or Nintex.
  • Background in secure coding practices.
