Project Coordinator

Peraton is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team. This role will provide critical coordination and business operations support across a portfolio of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) programs. The Project Coordinator will help drive efficiency, streamline processes, and ensure alignment of program activities with corporate and customer priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide operational support of DHS Programs, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and preparation of executive-level briefings and reports.

• Track deliverables, deadlines, and program milestones to ensure timely execution of commitments.

• Draft and edit executive-level correspondence, presentations, and talking points.

• Coordinate communication and workflow between internal teams, senior leadership, and DHS stakeholders.

• Support process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and program delivery.

• Assist with special projects and ad hoc initiatives aligned to strategic business objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field and two (2) years experience or Associates degree and four years experience or a high school diploma/equivalent and six (6) years experience

• Must have experience in project coordination, program support, or business operations.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing executive-ready deliverables.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);

• U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with project management tools preferred.
• Experience in government contracting or DHS-related program support.
• Familiarity with DHS program structures, reporting requirements, and contract environments.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with senior executives and government stakeholders with professionalism and discretion
• The ability to obtain a DHS suitability clearance or active Secret clearance
