Job Description

This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days on-site at our Chicago, IL office

Responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks within the organization. Participate in the development and implementation of risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize potential losses and ensure compliance with regulations. Complete risk assessments, analyze data, and provide recommendations to senior management.

Responsibilities:

Insurance Program Management:

  • Actively participate in the operations of the company's global risk insurance programs which includes US and International programs.
  • Facilitate day-to-day activities including internal information requests for policies, insurance certificates and/or auto ID cards, accounting/billing, coordination of claims/loss control services, inquiries as to coverage.
  • Execute and support insurance renewal processes including data collection, underwriting coordination, and renewal strategy in all areas of insurance; GL, Auto, Property, Cyber, Professional liability, Cargo, Crime and Product Liability.
  • Works collaboratively with the brokers and internal clients in the renewal process including preparation of all necessary applications and submissions to underwriters.
  • Internal communications with stakeholders and business leads.
  • Manage post-bind deliverables, policy issuance, and insurer/broker relationships.
  • Create and manage content for the Risk Management website and internal communication platformsas needed.
  • Serve as single point of contact for facilities and business teams regarding insurance inquiries.
  • Support contract review of liability and insurance provisions from business and contract transaction team.
  • Assist with Workers Compensation self-insurance run-off requirements for states
  • Support Mergers and Acquisition integration
  • Assist with allocation of certain premium and expenses to facilities

    Claims Management:

  • Work closely with brokerage and insurance partners to manage claims effectively and efficiently.
  • Retrieve and analyze claims data and work with brokerage and insurance carrier partners to facilitate timely closure of claims.

    Risk Analysis:

  • Performs risk analysis duties including compilations of underwriting information and coverage placement, loss forecasting and analysis in order to promote maximum protection of our assets and assist in loss reduction often acting as lead responsible for coverage placement.
  • Conduct risk assessments to mitigate liability exposures and contractual risks.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Risk Management.
  • CPCU / ARM designations are a plus, but not required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in with an insurance carrier or broker or corporate risk management.
  • Ability to communicate across multiple functions and businesses in the organization.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity working with Risk Management Information Systems, implementation and data integrity, and use of systems for data management and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment while also establishing work priorities and managing time effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $90,800 to $145,400 / year. The salary range may be adjusted

based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the

future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and

compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency,

performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation

package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD's benefit

offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with

company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental
