About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Leader to join our team as Safety Manager focused on creating, supporting, enhancing, and reinforcing our company-wide safety program. Our commitment to safety continues to grow as we strengthen practices that protect our employee-owners, clients, and communities. In this highly visible role, you will help shape the future of safety with 900 employees, 22 office locations in 8 states, and nationwide remote workforce. Reporting directly to our COO, you will have the opportunity to influence practices across Parametrix, while building a strong culture of accountability and care.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead our safety program: Update and maintain the company safety manual, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and bring safety expertise into client-facing projects to strengthen project delivery.
  • Champion field and office safety: Conduct inspections, provide guidance, and drive consistency, including support for project teams in the field and on client sites.
  • Manage fleet safety: Oversee vehicle protocols, driver training, and risk mitigation to support both internal operations and project delivery needs.
  • Guide emergency preparedness: Develop and coordinate response planning, drills, and communication strategies that extend to project and client environments.
  • Act as our OSHA liaison: Ensure compliance, reporting, and inspection readiness.
  • Oversee workers' compensation: Administer claims and partner with HR and managers to support employees.
  • Train and influence: Develop and deliver engaging safety trainings and resources, while embedding best practices across the organization and within project teams.
  • Measure and improve: Track safety metrics and use data to identify risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive safety management experience in AEC with proven success supporting both internal operations and client-facing project teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, federal and construction safety requirements, and the ability to apply this expertise in diverse project and client environments.
  • Professional certifications such as CSP, CHST, or OSHA 30/500 are strongly preferred. We also welcome candidates who are actively pursuing these credentials and are committed to ongoing professional development in safety leadership.
  • Ability to balance compliance and innovation, driving measurable safety improvements that enhance both Parametrix operations and the success of billable projects.

Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $150,000-175,000k+.

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses, and our salaries are reviewed annually. Our compensation structure prioritizes transparency and internal pay equity.
