We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team at our food ingredient manufacturing facility in Rockland, Maine. The Warehouse Operator is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing raw materials and finished products while ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. This role requires prior forklift experience, attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols.

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our team in Rockland, Maine. This role supports the efficient handling of raw materials and finished goods in a food manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments of raw materials and packaging supplies.
- Store products in designated areas, ensuring proper inventory rotation (FIFO).
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for production and outbound shipments.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization in compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
- Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with truck loading/unloading and verify shipment accuracy.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with exposure to temperature variations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift certification or prior experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, lifting, standing for extended periods).
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or food manufacturing.
- Familiarity with food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, SQF, etc.).
