The Integrated Environments Specialist provides store signage support and project management for the end-to-end outdoor and in-store customer experience, aligning efforts across local marketing, store operations, merchandising, and creative to drive a cohesive and elevated brand presence.

Position will follow our hybrid schedule: Monday-Wednesday in Downer's Grove IL office, Thursday-Friday remote. Some travel required.

Key Deliverables:

  • Collaborate with creative and merchant teams to conceptualize and deliver compelling, sales-driving signage and display solutions that enhance product storytelling.
  • Project manage the execution of the branding and wayfinding signage ecosystem.
  • Lead in-store signage support of e-commerce touchpoints within the physical store environment to ensure a seamless omnichannel experience.
  • Partner with local team to develop localized in-store marketing programs collaborating closely with regional teams to tailor experiences to community needs.
  • Oversee in-store atmosphere initiatives, including music, messaging, and voice systems, working in partnership with operations and third-party vendors to optimize customer engagement.
  • Direct vendor partnerships and store operations teams to ensure consistent, high-quality execution and ongoing maintenance of signage across all locations.
  • Lead the signage and experiential budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility while maximizing brand and business impact.

Education and Experience:

  • Applicant must have a high school diploma. Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or communications from an accredited college preferred.
  • 1-3 years' experience in retail (grocery) industry or experience in marketing, retail signage, visual merchandising, or a related field; equivalent experience in customer experience, brand activation, or environmental design will also be considered.
  • Experience managing external vendors and creative partners preferred.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must maintain the highest level of customer service at all times.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills are a must as the ability to accurately convey information to team members, management, vendors and store staff members is crucial.
  • Proven ability to project manage projects from concept through execution, with a strong focus on timelines, budgets, and business impact.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to the ever-changing high volume retail environment while working in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Must have the capacity to take initiative for making appropriate decisions and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a variety of situations.
  • Must have advanced attention to detail with the capability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency of computer systems is required. Working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana).
  • Must be able to support and contribute to team goals across multiple departments.

The pay range for this position is listed below. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.

$62,000.00 - $100,000.00

This pay range represents the minimum and maximum base pay for the position, which is determined by factors such as market data, the qualifications required, the level of responsibilities associated with the role and other roles at this same level. Specific pay rates will be within this range and based on your experience, qualifications, and skills compared to the internal team of this role.

Compensation for this position also includes incentive bonus opportunities that may vary based on individual and company performance. Specific details will be discussed during the hiring process.
