Shifts include daytime (8am-5pm) Monday-Friday hours and Saturday (12-5pm). Duties include: Assisting students, faculty, staff and community members with resource access, reference and general and directional questions in person, over the phone and on live chat. Checking library materials in/out Assisting in opening and closing the library Helping users with printing and computers Shelving returned items and shelf-reading the collection Assisting users with 3D printing, virtual reality, and the Anatomage anatomy table Participating in projects and other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Equivalencies not found for this position Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: Work study award Reliable; committed to be on time and to fulfilling scheduled shifts and tasks. Well-developed time management skills Working knowledge of a technology, including troubleshooting of computers, printers, and scanners Able to work the specific days and times needed to be staffed (able to fill gaps in desk coverage) Customer service experience Familiarity with a library and some experience working in a library Ability to perform on a team, communicate and support work colleagues Application Instructions Only applications submitted through the official UNMJobs site will be accepted.
