As a Security Professional Armed Aero/Defense Patrol in Canoga Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing peace of mind to those on site. This role requires both an armed guard card and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for patrolling by vehicle and/or on foot. You will be a visible presence, offering exceptional customer service and communication while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with a focus on areas relevant to the aerospace and defense environment.
• Monitor access points and check credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and activities while on duty.
• Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations and/or lockdowns, as required by site-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to potential threats or incidents specific to the location's operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is required.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
