        | Position Type |  | Full Time |  |  |  | Description Summary/Purpose of the Position: The Warehouse Lead directs the activities of warehouse personnel involved in the receiving, production, and shipping of the Company's products. This position ensures that all policies and procedures are followed. Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:  
 
     
 Assists warehouse management with development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures; ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by warehouse teamSupervises all shipping, receiving, and packing room activities performed by warehouse team; maintains a high degree of visibility and access to employees on warehouse floor throughout the shiftLeads by example and trains, motivates, coaches, rewards, and disciplines crew being supervisedSupervises inventory control processResolves warehouse-related issues with representatives from other departments throughout the companyReviews, prioritizes, and organizes all outgoing ordersSchedules equipment maintenance as requiredCoordinates with the warehouse manager to manage personnel issues and requestsPerforms administrative tasks as necessaryMaintains a working knowledge of all warehouse operationsMaintains safety programs and all required safety training for the crewPerforms other related duties as assigned by managementMaintains an excellent attendance recordDirectly and indirectly responsible for product qualityOther duties as assigned
 
Qualifications Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 
 
     
 High School diploma or GED required2+ warehouse operations experience, preferably from industrial, electronics assembly, or distribution2+ inventory management experience (cycle counting and reconciliation, Disposition of Non-conforming product, managing shelf-life sensitive items, temperature monitoring, etc.)2+ years' experience working with Distribution software systems, Warehouse management system experience (wireless RF gun) is a plusKnowledge of warehouse operations best practicesCommitment to excellence and high standardsExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmAbility to work independently and as a member of various teams and committeesProven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlinesAbility to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levelsForklift certified or able to become forklift certifiedMust comply with all safety requirementsAttention to detail and ability to multi-taskComputer literate in MS Word and Outlook; working knowledge of shipping and receiving software.Ability to read/write in English requiredKnowledge of Logistic (LTL /international)IATA and CFR49 experience highly preferred but not required.

 Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
