We are seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Technician to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our facility. This role is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and improvements to building systems, supporting production needs, and assisting the Facilities Manager with facility projects and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

The Facilities Maintenance I performs general maintenance and housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Position Responsibilities:

* Performs duties in a safe, productive, and cost-effective manner that complies with all company quality, safety and regulatory policies to include proper use of PPE.

* Monitors and maintains all company operated facility conditions to include restrooms, break areas, offices, production areas and exterior grounds. Reports issues and concerns to facility manager.

* Performs basic repairs, preventative maintenance, and janitorial services in aforementioned areas on a prescribed schedule.

* Maintain all consumable paper products in break areas and restrooms.

* Assists the facilities manager in developing goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures as needed.

* Monitor inventory of required materials for the position. Report needs and adjustments to facilities manager.

* Respond to maintenance request as assigned.

* Assists in office relocations, moving furniture, dismantling/reassembling cubicles.

* Performs basic facility repairs, preventative maintenance, and janitorial services as assigned.

* Perform other functions as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization.

Skills & Abilities:

* Basic computer skills

* Ability to use common hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, screwdrivers, paintbrushes and wrenches

* Ability to stay focused when working individually

* Extremely organized individual

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 2 years maintenance experience a plus

Work Environment:

* Office, Warehouse, and Manufacturing floor; Requires physical capability to work up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

* 9/80 work schedule.

* Office located in Lititz, PA, with occasional visits to Lancaster facility.
