TEKsystems is seeking a trusted expert in communication, physical security, and life safety solutions to support clients across Healthcare, Education, Detention, and Commercial sectors. * Position: Access Control Security Service Technician* Location: Onsite in Nashville, TN Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00/hr Experience Level: Expert * What You'll Be Doing:* As an Access Control Security Service Technician, you'll be the go-to problem solver for a wide range of commercial systems. You'll work hands-on with access control, electrified door hardware, CCTV (Analog & IP), and burglar panels, delivering top-tier service in a fast-paced environment. * Key Responsibilities:* * Lead with honesty, integrity, and a drive for excellence. * Deliver timely, efficient support to clients-on-site and remotely. * Troubleshoot and repair access control, CCTV, and alarm systems. * Recommend system upgrades and provide client training. * Support installations and programming when needed. * Handle alarm takeovers and system upgrades. * Keep service documentation up to date and communicate clearly with the Service Manager. * Maintain inventory of service parts in your company vehicle. * Stay sharp on current systems and commit to lifelong learning. * Preferred Experience With:* * Lenel * RS2 * DMP * DSC * Interlogic * Honeywell * Avigilon * Top Skills:* Access control, Alarm systems, Security, Installation, Radio, Troubleshooting, Service, Low voltage, Punchdown, Physical security, Programming * Additional Responsibilities:* * Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency after-hours service. * Travel occasionally to job sites over 2 hours away (overnight stays required). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
