Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician (Nevada F-Card Certified) Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and certified Fire Alarm Technician with a valid Nevada F-Card (Fire Life Safety Certification) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72, local codes, and Nevada State Fire Marshal regulations. Key Responsibilities: * Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems including panels, detectors, pull stations, and notification devices. * Perform troubleshooting and repairs on fire alarm systems and related components. * Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with fire codes and standards. * Document service and inspection reports accurately and submit them in a timely manner. * Coordinate with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure proper system functionality and compliance. * Stay current with changes in fire safety codes and technologies. Qualifications: * Valid Nevada F-Card issued by the Nevada State Fire Marshal Division. * High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in electronics or fire alarm systems preferred. * Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, local fire codes, and fire alarm system components. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication and customer service abilities. * Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Preferred Skills: * NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems. * Experience with multiple fire alarm brands (e.g., Notifier, Simplex, Siemens). * Familiarity with integrated life safety systems. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
