Position Summary

EBI Consulting is seeking a full-time Account Manager responsible for developing and nurturing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. This position acts as the central liaison between clients and project delivery teams, ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive communication, timely updates, and swift resolution of billing, legal, and AR issues. The Account Manager coordinates work across Service and Industry Lines, manages project data and documentation, supports invoicing, and monitors project progress to ensure on-time delivery.

This position reports directly to the Senior Program Director and can be either a work from home or in office position, depending on geography, with no travel expectations required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Team with the Account Executive as the liaison between the client and our project delivery teams across Service and Industry Lines, with responsibility for overall customer satisfaction; will also be able to promptly resolve and assist with any AR, billing, and legal questions or issues
  • Maintain pro-active and frequent client communication via phone, email and in-person meetings to set client expectations in terms of timing, project status, notify clients about any significant non-technical issues, findings or discoveries, and ensuring timely responses to clients' calls, emails and other forms of inquiry
  • Act as primary point of contact for all work across Practices and Service Lines including External (client) and Internal (delivery)
  • Accountable for entering and/or validating salient data fields on opportunities and projects across all Service Lines, including delivery of proposals, work orders, and change order requests, promptly issuing change orders as appropriate, and facilitating the development of scopes of work and pricing across all service lines consistent with client needs, requirements and contract terms
  • Coordinate with all Service and Industry Lines and track projects through the lifecycle to ensure on-time execution and delivery. May be responsible for triggering the invoicing process and/or helping to ensure accounting has accurate invoice related information to produce the invoice timely and send it out
  • Support the Accounting team with Accounts Receivable follow-up
  • Understand project performance and profitability of assigned accounts as well as working with Service Line Leaders on all profitability issues.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Account Management and Operations to review data regularly across accounts for decision making purposes on future pricing
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and communicate with sales team regularly
  • Weekly monitoring/updating of all opportunities in the system associated with assigned accounts
  • Support Account Executives by providing feedback for their account planning, including annual budgets, by Service Line



Qualifications and Capabilities



  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Communication or similar field
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Associate Account Manager or similar role
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Experience with CRM software and MS Office
  • Ability to work independently and manage personal and team member time, keeping deliverables and deadlines top of mind
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
