We Require
One year of experience in striping, sign installation, road marking, or other related experience in traffic signals and traffic control, or two years of experience in roadway construction High school diploma or GED Must possess or have the ability to obtain an American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) Flagging certification within six months of hire Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire

Install and maintain traffic control signing consistent with MUTCD standards Input all work in real-time using an electronic asset management program Assigned a one-ton truck and responsible for following all maintenance/ service requirements Operate and maintain various hand tools and power equipment Participate in On-Call/Standby with 24-hour response when requested, flooded roadway response, special signing projects, dedications, emergencies, Palo Verde drills, and exercises Two-way radio communication with dispatch and the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Assess and report roadway and traffic control conditions, damage, and flooding Other job duties as assigned
