Your Job

We are looking for an innovative Project Manager to support our Industrial Automation and Electrical & Power Supply sector in the ISBU (Industrial Solutions Business Unit). The role oversees project plans for new product development in capacity tooling and continuous improvement projects.

The Team

The Project Management team operates globally within the Industrial Solutions Business Unit at Molex. The team's activities involve applying engineering knowledge, collaborating across a global workforce, and utilizing a diverse business network to encourage the development of safe, robust, and reliable industrial solutions. This group manages New Product Development Opportunities for both the general market and specific customers, coordinating with internal teams and working directly with clients.

What You Will Do

  • Project Leadership & Execution
    • Lead cross-functional teams to execute approved projects through to serial production, ensuring alignment with the Global Product Development Process (PDP)
    • Act as the in-house leader to drive and ensure project plan execution on time, setting priorities and direction for assigned projects or programs
    • Coordinate activities and collaborate with CFT department project leads (SMEs) to meet project requirements and ensure milestones are completed as defined
* Project Planning & Risk Management
    • Ensure the team achieves or exceeds all aspects of the accepted Project Plan
    • Perform frequent risk management assessments to protect project scope and escalate issues in a timely manner
    • Keep track of program action items and coordinate scheduling to drive resolution
* Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Serve as the direct customer contact during the development of customized solutions
    • Support global sales and marketing teams throughout the development process
    • Provide regular updates on project status and share with stakeholders
    • Work with department stakeholders to gain insight and act as a liaison in project meetings
* Team Guidance & Collaboration
    • Meet regularly with the project team and help drive the value stream to meet set objectives
    • Seek technical support and engage in discussions with resources possessing necessary expertise
    • Guide teams using the principles, techniques, and frameworks of Performance Based Management
* Process & Documentation
    • Generate and facilitate documentation per procedures and requirements.
    • Assist in the creation and implementation of processes and documentation for new projects
    • Support special projects as required and recommend steps to improve process efficiencies

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Five or more years' experience in Project Management and/or Product Development
  • Strong team leadership skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize, and self-monitor workload
  • Experience with customer engagement, receptive to the customer's needs and shows a sense of urgency
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally to customer or Molex sites as needed

What Will Put You Ahead

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering

* Project Management (PMI or equivalent) certification

  • Strong organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize, and self-monitor workload
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive with a contribution mindset

For this role, we anticipate paying $80,000-$110,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
