Job Details

The Senior Director, IAM Modernization and Integration, will drive high-impact initiatives across the global Identity and Access Management (IAM) program. This role focuses on leading enterprise-scale efforts in merger and acquisition (M&A) integration, IAM platform modernization (transitioning from infrastructure-based to SaaS-delivered services), and application onboarding into the enterprise IAM fabric. The leader will bring strong execution discipline, organizational change management skills, and a bias for action to successfully coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver results in highly visible initiatives.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a key participant in developing and executing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for IAM modernization and enterprise integration.
  • Lead the integration of acquired entities into the enterprise IAM ecosystem, ensuring rapid alignment with corporate standards while minimizing disruption to business operations.
  • Direct IAM platform modernization initiatives, including SaaS migration of core IAM capabilities and consolidation of legacy platforms.
  • Oversee enterprise-wide application onboarding efforts, scaling the reach and effectiveness of IAM controls across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid systems.
  • Coordinate and influence across infrastructure, business units, application owners, security architecture, and compliance to ensure aligned execution and change adoption.
  • Apply structured organizational change management (OCM) practices to enable stakeholder buy-in and readiness throughout modernization and integration efforts.
  • Partner with Program Management and Architecture teams to manage timelines, interdependencies, and risk mitigation for large-scale initiatives.
  • Drive automation and leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate IAM service delivery, improve decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Establish success metrics and ensure transparency and accountability in reporting to executive leadership.
  • Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement across integration and onboarding workflows.
  • Coach and mentor a team of senior managers and specialists responsible for domain-specific execution.
  • Lead talent development to develop bench strength to build high-performing teams, support succession planning and long-term organizational resilience.

Work Experience

  • 12+ years in cybersecurity or IT leadership, with 7+ in IAM-specific roles.
  • Experience leading multiple IAM functional areas and managing leaders of people.
  • Skilled in program delivery, stakeholder communication, and balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
  • Proficiency in enterprise identity platforms, privileged access tools, and cloud IAM integrations.

Domain Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of IAM capabilities including Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Access Management, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and integration with enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in IAM modernization and SaaS migrations at scale.
  • Expertise in M&A IAM integration, including domain consolidation, identity harmonization, and policy alignment.
  • Strong background in application onboarding to IAM platforms using modern APIs, connectors, and automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of enterprise directory and authentication services (e.g., Azure AD, SSO, SCIM, SAML, OIDC).
  • Familiarity with organizational change management principles and execution in technology transformation.
  • Understanding of compliance and security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, SOX, HIPAA, and HITRUST.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in matrixed environments and deliver outcomes under tight timelines.
Tools Knowledge
  • IAM Platforms: SailPoint, BeyondTrust, Microsoft Entra, Ping, etc.
  • Directory & Cloud: AD, Microsoft Entra, SAP CDC (Gigya), LDAP, AWS IAM, GCP IAM
  • Security Tools: SIEM, SOAR, ITDR (integration points with IAM)
  • DevSecOps and CI/CD toolchains (for identity automation/integration)

The preference is for candidates to be located within a reasonable distance of our Conshohocken, PA or Carrollton, TX offices. However, individuals in other locations will also be considered. Those not based near a primary site should expect to travel to these locations as needed.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certification in Information Security Strategy Management (CISM)
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 12+ years of directly-related or relevant experience with 8+ years in a managerial capacity, preferably in information security.

Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
