| SUMMARY:  Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Project Executive to join our Energy Storage Group.  This professional will be responsible for providing overall management for large projects, leading the project team and ensuring key and successful customer relations, while assisting operating group with winning work. As a Project Executive, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, and internal teams. You'll oversee contract administration, financial performance, and strategic planning while mentoring project managers and engineers. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone passionate about clean energy and capable of managing complex, multi-million-dollar projects across diverse geographies. This individual will have the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This role is pivotal in driving project success from pre-construction through close-out, ensuring excellence in execution, customer satisfaction, and team development. RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 Lead the execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects from development through completion.Establish and maintain successful customer and/or community relationshipsOversee contract negotiations, change orders, and risk management strategies.Ensure projects meet or exceed safety, quality, schedule, and budget expectations.Collaborate with business development teams to support proposal efforts and win new work.Monitor project financials, including cost forecasting, billing, and profitability analysis.Represent Mortenson in industry forums and client meetings as a thought leader in renewable energy construction.Conduct key customer service visits throughout the project, from pre-construction client surveys to close-out, ensuring project commitments are met, and issues are resolvedPreview proposals before submission and participate in Request for Proposal processAct as primary customer contact for all assigned projectsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and community stakeholders.Support business development initiatives in establishing and building on client relationshipsProvide oversight and accountability for large project(s)Manage contract administration including, but not limited to terms, change requests, invoices, and progress payments, etc.Establish and implement project objective and proceduresMaintain project budgets, costs, and pricing, ensuring delivery of a profitable project.Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.Review work of Senior Project Manager(s) and Project Manager(s) assigned to projectsMentor and manage team members, establishing and fostering team environmentDevelop team members for future career consideration and training opportunitiesEffectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levelsLead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance. Other duties as assigned 
 Provide high level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance for the project and team membersUse the appropriate level of forethought and planning in decision making to assure project success QUALIFICATIONS: 
 Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field Minimum 10 years' experience in construction management overseeing large projects ($70M+)Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projectsDetail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasksExperience in Energy Storage, Solar or Emerging Renewables, or electrical transmission and distribution fieldsPossess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practicesMicrosoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level.Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsAbility to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies Current driver's licenseKnowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, Inclusive Behaviors, and Affirmative Action plans and their intended useAbility to travel up to 50% A few benefits offered include:  (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week)
