Here, you'll find innovation, stability, and the chance to grow your career as part of a team that's always looking ahead.

Are you a creative problem-solver who thrives on transforming ideas into tangible solutions? Join our engineering team and help design the next generation of high-performance vehicle restraints-like our flagship Dok-Lok-products that set the industry standard for safety, reliability, and innovation.

As a Design Engineer, you'll lead the design and development of mechanical systems that push boundaries in functionality, efficiency, and user experience. You'll collaborate closely with product management and cross-functional partners to bring bold ideas from concept to reality-whether improving existing designs or pioneering entirely new solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead mechanical and structural design efforts to enhance performance, reliability, and user value across our restraint systems and related products.

  • Use advanced modeling and analysis tools to validate concepts, optimize performance, and accelerate innovation.

  • Translate innovative ideas into real-world solutions using CAD for design, prototyping, and iterative testing.

  • Select materials and components that balance performance, cost, and manufacturability.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and product management to ensure seamless product launches.

  • Support prototype builds, testing, and field validation, ensuring designs perform in real-world conditions.

  • Collaborate with engineers and designers, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.

  • Champion continuous improvement, streamlining design processes while driving innovation.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).

  • At least two years of experience in product design, development, or engineering.

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred), along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • A passion for innovation-constantly curious, always improving.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and standard engineering software.

  • Experience in generative design, AI, or machine learning is a plus.

  • An entrepreneurial or product development background is highly valued.

  • Preferred: electrical experience such as PLC programming, embedded systems, or software/firmware development.

Why You'll Love It Here

You'll be part of a team that values curiosity, creativity, and forward thinking. Your designs will directly impact products trusted by thousands of facilities worldwide. From the iconic Dok-Lok to future restraint innovations, your work will help define the next generation of industrial safety solutions.

If you're ready to engineer what's next, we'd love to meet you.
