As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic transportation setting, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for all. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will be key in providing exceptional customer service, while adhering to the highest standards of integrity and teamwork. Pay Rate: $27.58 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols across the assigned transportation location, including business areas and perimeter.
• Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activity to help to deter potential security-related threats.
• Interact with the public, staff, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner while enforcing site rules.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when necessary.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any concerns or potential risks to Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
