Job Description
The Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) Content Management Systems Specialist is responsible for the management, maintenance and continuous improvement of Quest's Human Resources (HR) Portal, and for supporting the SharePoint intranet. The ideal candidate will have experience with content management systems, user experience and user interface (UX/UI) design, graphic design, html, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and digital adoption. The position is remote and can be based anywhere within the US.
Responsibilities:
Content Management Systems
- Advise on page designs, user experience/user interface, and information architecture to ensure an intuitive user experience.
- Maintain and improve governance processes to keep information accurate and relevant.
- Manage and respond to enhancement and advising requests submitted through the HR ticketing system.
HR Portal
- Design pages and implement enhancements to improve the employee experience and user interface.
- Perform content reviews, audits, quality control checks and editorial reviews to ensure content is accurate, up to date, and easy to understand.
- Develop relationships and collaborate with content owners and stakeholders to ensure content and design maximize employee understanding and satisfaction.
- Monitor system metrics and search logs to identify trends, track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop technical expertise in administration of the HR Portal platform, Embark, and in managing content within it.
SharePoint Intranet
- Support activities related to governance, information architecture, page design, usability, and training/outreach on the SharePoint intranet.
Communications
- Develop, prepare, and send employee communications related to HRSC initiatives and processes.
- Collaborate on communications initiatives with HRSC staff and leadership, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Centers of Excellence (COEs), and Corporate Communications on HR-related communications.
Qualifications:
Required WorkExperience:
- 2+years of experience supporting a company intranet, portal or content management system
Preferred Work Experience:
- Experience in user experience/user interface (UX/UI) design
- HR or HRSC experience
Technical Knowledge:
- User experience/User interface (UX/UI) best practices
- Content Management Systems (such as SharePoint, Drupal, Wordpress)
- Graphic and visual design
- Basic HTML
- Writing for the web
- Taxonomy and metadata
- Business analysis with the ability to understand business and end user needs and translate them into resources and solutions on digital platforms
