As a Security Officer - Access Control Tech Facility in Suwanee, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials in alignment with established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing sound judgment and communication skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Provide clear information and assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors regarding access procedures and location guidelines.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and site management to support a secure and welcoming environment within a technology-focused location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
