 Page is hiring a Lead Healthcare Planner and local thought leader to join our team. The Lead Healthcare Planner's role is to lead planning engagements and collaborate with the design team and Owner to resolve and implement distinguished design concepts that make lives better. 
 Will participate in making decisions regarding healthcare planning & design conceptsAccountable for insuring project square footage remains within approved program and/or alerts programmatic scope changes to the design team and ownerParticipate and coordinate with the team to produce deliverables reflecting Page's planning and design recommendations and client expectations relative to approved program and budgetMentor less experienced staff to build and strengthen desirable skills, experience and client relationships across the fieldPresent expertise to market while continuing education at key industry conferences, seminars and participation in professional organization activities.Participate in business development opportunities for the firm including growing and leveraging professional network for information and leads, assisting in responses to RFPs, making project presentations, calling on prospects, writing noteworthy articles and participating on panels at professional seminars.  Bachelor's degree in Architecture is required; advanced degree preferred20+ years of experienceRegistered architect in a least one U.S. jurisdictionCapable of leading hospital site and facility master planning projects, including key planning unit to departmental square footage projections, departmental zoning and circulation concepts, and developing client consensus for a master plan recommendation.Must be curious and strategically orientedMust possess strong analytical thinking skills; is a conceptual thinker with design sensitivityAbility to be adaptable and objectivePossesses a solid understanding of lean thinking concepts and tools.Ability to collaborate with peers, subordinates and clients constructivelyStrong interpersonal skills and team management skillsStrong listening, oral communication/presentation, graphics, writing, and public speaking skills with the ability to facilitate meetings with clients/ usersStrong client management skillsDeveloped technical and leadership skills with a deep portfolio of new construction and renovation healthcare facilities (for academic medical centers, acute and ambulatory care, behavioral health, children's health, cancer care, emergency departments, etc.) in primarily urban environmentsPassion and knowledge of theoretical and practical developments in the field of healthcare architectureProficiency with general digital office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and Outlook as well as specialty AEC industry tools like Bluebeam; Revit proficiency preferredWorking knowledge of life safety and building codes; deep knowledge of how buildings are constructed, i.e. systems, phasing #LI-JK1 |
