Trimble's AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Owners) Segment provides industry-leading software solutions that connect the digital and physical worlds for customers in the construction and infrastructure industries. With revenues of over $1 Billion and growing, AECO is poised for extensive growth with a best in class end-to-end product offering.

Given the extensive growth and scale of the AECO segment, the VP of Global Demand Generation is a highly visible, executive-level role critical to supporting the CMO by delivering strategic support, managing mission-critical projects, ensuring executional efficiency, and maintaining cross-business alignment. This role is both advisory and operational and requires strategic aptitude, analytical skills, and strong project management skills. You must be able to collaborate with global leaders across the organization to drive operational efficiencies, influence cross-collaboration efforts and unlock opportunities. This role has high visibility and high impact and will be critical in driving the organization's performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and empower a global team of over 70 demand generation professionals in a complex, matrixed environment, focusing on their individual development, fostering empathy, and building a deep understanding of diverse cultural perspectives to maximize their collective impact on pipeline growth and customer acquisition.

  • Own the pipeline targets, collaborating with the sales and marketing team to define growth plans, channel strategies, and analytics to drive new leads and expansion opportunities.

  • Manage digital demand generation channels such as SEM, paid social, webinars, sponsorships, SEO, and integrated campaigns.

  • Develop strategies for field marketing and regional revenue growth, collaborating closely with regional sales leadership to ensure targeted and impactful campaigns.

  • Oversee global events to enhance brand awareness, customer loyalty, and generate new leads and opportunities.

  • Create an outbound marketing strategy and account-based marketing framework aligned with sales objectives.

  • Collaborate with the Partner team to develop partner marketing strategies that align with global campaign goals and drive SQL pipeline.

  • Cultivate a culture of continuous testing and optimization to improve channel performance and ROI.

  • Foster alignment among marketing, sales, and go-to-market teams to drive collective success.

  • Collaborate with regional teams to align priorities, adjust strategies based on market conditions, and seize emerging opportunities.

  • Coordinate with brand, content, and product marketing teams to ensure consistent branding and targeted messaging.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in a technology focused enterprise-scale business, project management, corporate strategy, business development, go to market operations, or similar roles.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.

  • Demonstrated senior leadership with strong people management capabilities, including the ability to coach, mentor, and develop a diverse workforce. Prior experience managing and scaling a global, distributed team is highly preferred.

  • Strong ability to understand complex go-to-market dynamics and models.

  • Very strong financial modeling and excel/google sheet skills. Experience in budget development and OKR management.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgment, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in project management tools, collaboration software, and Google Suite.

  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and driving cross-functional collaboration.
