Job Title: Bid Program Manager

Work Location: FLETC headquarters at Glynco, GA (1131 Chapel Crossing Rd, Brunswick, GA 31525,

Program Manager(s) shall have a minimum of a four-year degree, with a major in engineering, system management, business administration, and/or related field and at least seven years of experience in IT program or project management; experience developing documents for risk and opportunity management; experience developing and applying technical processes and technical management processes; experience managing performance-based service agreements; experience developing and managing project within assigned budgets; experience writing business cases; and experience in strategic planning.

*Experience leading a large team of 50+ staff over multiple geographic locations.

responsible for tasks such as:



  • Oversight of IT projects across FLETC sites (Glynco GA, Artesia NM, Charleston SC, Cheltenham MD)
  • Ensuring the project meets service delivery, schedule, budget and performance metrics tied to FLETC's CIO Service Catalog (e.g., service delivery, infrastructure modernization, business continuity)
  • Coordination between FLETC's divisions (ITS/ISM, OSD/ITI, Field IT Services) and the contractor workforce, ensuring deployments, support, service management processes align
  • Managing the interface with the Government, tracking deliverables tied to ITSM, infrastructure, field deployments
  • Possibly leading capitalization, change control, risk & issue management, stakeholder communication, and ensuring compliance with federal/regulatory requirements (security, accessibility, etc.)
  • Ensuring onsite support across geographically dispersed sites, and remote/onsite staffing strategies


Wants: Law Enforcement Background; FLETC or DHS Law Enformance Background; Training/Coursework IT Systems

Certification Requirements: Project Management Professional (preferred not required: ITIL certification preferred not required)

Active Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.
