Security Officer - Residential Patrol Full Time

As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Full Time in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming environment. You will perform routine patrols, interact with residents and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing support as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and property management staff to address questions and concerns.
• Assist in controlling access to the property, verifying credentials as required, and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Document all security-related activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience in access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
