| Description The Float Care Coordinator will support the clinic and physician care teams by providing administrative and patient care services. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM out of our Brooklyn Park, Blaine, Coon Rapids, Otsego & Plymouth locations. Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.Essential Functions: 
  
 Provide communication and liaison between providers and patientsBuild Physician schedule and maintain scheduling templateSchedule patient appointments, surgeries, and diagnostic tests.Obtains referral and/or authorization requirements per insurance guidelines.Provide follow up to patient inquiries, contacting provider as necessaryProcess mail and correspondenceCoordinate the transmission and acquisition of patient recordsMaintain Physician schedule, communicating changes appropriatelyAdditional functions may include:Transcription or medical scribingAssist in clinic with rooming, etc.Assist physician with legal practice, etc.Any and all other duties as assigned
 Education and Experience Requirements: 
  
 High school diploma/GED or equivalentAdministrative or medical office experience preferredMedical terminology knowledge strongly preferredTranscription experience, where applicableCustomer service experience
