Job Title: Construction Coordinator
Location: Roanoke Rapids, NC
Job Summary:


  • We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Construction Coordinator who will be responsible for driving a company rental vehicle.




Job Description:


  • Full knowledge of construction, operations and maintenance of transmission lines; switching, tagging and grounding; concrete construction.
  • Basic knowledge of contract administration and OSHA safety standards.
  • Basic knowledge of computer programs.




Required Skills:


  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Project management.
  • Public relations.




Abilities:


  • Read and understand technical specifications.
  • Work independently, evaluate problems and make sound decisions.
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking.
  • Adapt to changing conditions and demands.
  • Physical attributes required to perform essential functions of the job - lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, bending, prolonged standing and manual dexterity.




Required Education:


  • High School Diploma or GED required.




Required Experience:


  • 9-10 years of directly related experience (transmission line or heavy construction) with an HS/GED. Alternatively: 8-9 years with a related Associate's degree, or 7-8 years with a related Bachelor's degree.
