  • Lead supplier engagement for custom equipment and breakthrough technologies and ensure lab space has equipment needed for early builds and trials.

  • Implement a common AME lab management framework across regions including software, workflows, documentation, calibration, and study governance.

  • Coordinate joint cross site studies to align test methods, data schemas, and reporting so all labs operate as a unified network.

  • Build feedback loops to capture lessons learned and publish standards, best practices, and readiness metrics for global reuse.

Project Management Skills:

  • Prioritize projects and allocate SME resources to meet platform milestones and manufacturing readiness goals.

  • Track schedule, cost, risk, and deliverables with clear updates to AME and NPD leadership. Provide concise technical summaries, risks, mitigations, and decisions.

  • Provide input on baseline staffing and skill sets needed based on process complexity and program demand.

Technical Leadership Skills:

  • Provide technical leadership to process owners at manufacturing sites to develop their technical capabilities in critical processes and technologies

  • Set study rigor, documentation quality, and technical standards that enable smooth implementation at manufacturing sites.

  • Coach teams on structured experimentation, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Lead and develop SMEs across welding, data systems, and related disciplines to elevate organizational capability

  • Ensure timely SME support to global sites for launches, troubleshooting, and process improvement. Provide technical leadership to process owners to grow capability in critical processes and technologies.

  • Verify manufacturability through pilot runs and readiness reviews and close gaps with actionable mitigation plans.
