About the Role 
We are looking for a multi-product Manufacturing Engineering Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for production support, sustaining engineering activities, and design documentation maintenance through the entire commercial production product lifecycle while leading, developing, and mentoring engineers and engineering leaders on their team.  This position will be located at our facility in Phoenix or Flagstaff, Arizona with the possiblity of a hybrid work arrangement.  
Responsibilities 
    - Lead assessment and planning of technical projects and capital requirements to meet business objectives; prioritize work, align resources, manage schedules and escalations, and ensure integration into supply chain governance processes
 - Provide technical support for Regulatory and Quality Assurance functions to maintain global compliance, including audit readiness and execution of compliance-related projects
 - Apply sound engineering principles to identify and control process inputs and parameters that impact outcomes; ensure maintenance, safety, efficacy, and compliance of existing product lines
 - Guide and mentor engineers on validations, design control, test methods, product release, risk management, and documentation standards to ensure robust technical execution
 - Utilize project management tools to lead multiple engineering projects, resolve complex technical issues, and drive team accountability and alignment with organizational goals; drive continous improvement using Lean Principles to achieve KPIs and business results
 - Establish clear expectations of equitable and inclusive behaviors from Associates and act immediately to appropriately address negatively impactful or unfair behavior
 
     
Required Qualifications 
    - Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant technical field
 - Minimum of 5 years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
 - Minimum of 3 years leadership experience; direct people leadership preferred, or equivalent project leadership
 - Demonstrated project management expertise, including accurate forecasting, task prioritization, resource alignment, and simultaneous multi-project execution through collaborative problem-solving
 - Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining an inclusive work environment with clear understanding of equitable practices and deliveringon business outcomes in support of safety, quality and delivery
 - Skilled in fostering team resilience and alignment during periods of uncertainty or change, ensuring continued momentum and engagement
 - Proven ability to drive cost-effective, reliable commercial product supply by holding teams accountable to metrics and timelines; strong planning, team building, and execution skills with a results-driven approach
 - Advanced technical capabilities in data analysis, risk-based decision-making, and problem-solving, with a commitment to developing technical competencies in self and others
 - Demonstrated ability to lead and support effective change management initiatives by engaging stakeholders, communicating clearly, anticipating resistance, and driving adoption of new processes or systems. Proven track record of aligning teams to change objectives and sustaining improvements through continuous feedback and accountability
 - Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
 
     
Desired Qualifications 
     - Demonstrated experience applying Lean Six Sigma Principles 
 - Experience within medical device or regulated manufacturing environment
