Proofreader

Genesis10 is seeking a Proofreader for a 6 month contract position with a leading financial services company located in Cleveland, OH. This role can be 100% remote.

Compensation: $25.00-30.00/HR W2

Summary:

This role is responsible for the thorough proofreading of various marketing assets across all lines of business, including emails, letters, landing pages, social media posts, ads, white papers, and articles.

Responsibilities:

• The proofreader will review marketing assets for any errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and for adherence to the client's style usage and guidelines.
• Collaborate with writers, designers, and project coordinators to help ensure consistent messaging and that all deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Workfront is a plus.
• Attention to detail, grammar, and punctuation proficiency with the ability to prioritize tasks under deadlines that are sometimes tight.
• Experience proofreading a variety of content. High-volume workload.
• Experience with ensuring content aligns to a company's brand style guide and familiarity with the Associated Press (AP) style guide
