Job Description

Working without supervision, level three operators perform all levels of centerless grinding operations including intermediate setups. This includes the ability to hand dress grinding wheels to achieve customer specified part geometries. May serve as SME in either CNC, Manual or Auto Feeding grinding machines. 3-5 years of experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
  • Identify parts to the shop traveler ensuring that all prior operations have been completed.
  • Review and analyze blueprints, work orders and machining instructions to determine product dimensions, tooling, and to plan operational sequence.
  • Set up machine to run job according to shop traveler's instructions and grind sketch.
  • Check and inspect parts completely, visually and dimensionally during process as often as possible.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to check, test, login, logout, and grind good quality parts, coordinating with department's supervisor or lead during the process.
  • Receive and release all incoming and outgoing orders (jobs) in accordance with applicable Perform other duties as assigned.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $25.00 to $30.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 0 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
