Essential Job Responsibilities

• Staff will provide patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of their license, certification or registration and as required by law and regulation.

• Performs the following duties under the supervision of a licensed psychologist:

• Administers neuropsychological and psychological tests

• Scores and reports test results in format specified by supervising psychologist.

• Uses computerized testing protocols where indicated.

• Completes behavioral observation protocols and participates in research projects as requested.

• Evaluates client's condition and need for psychological services, including interviewing and history-taking, with input from parents or other family members, as appropriate

• Consults and coordinates care with treatment team and participates in team conferences when appropriate

• Provides counseling/psychotherapy to select patients under supervision as assigned

Customer Service Responsibilities

Demonstrate excellent customer service and standards of behaviors as well as encourages, coaches, and monitors the same in team members. This individual should consistently promote teamwork and direct communication with co-workers and deal discretely and sensitively with confidential information.

Responsibilities in Quality Improvement

Contribute by identifying problems and seeking solutions. Promote patient/family satisfaction where possible; participates in departmental efforts to monitor and report customer service.

Essential Job Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology

• Formal course work in psychometrics

• Ability to take directions and problem solve issues.

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to work with all populations.

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Limited License (LLP) to practice Psychology in the State of Michigan

• Course work in probability and statistics

• Experience in test administration

• Proficiency with the use of computers and knowledge of operational procedures
