As the Commercial Operations Lead, you will be responsible for supporting executional requirements for the end-to-end inbound supply chain for a specific group of inbound materials in the direct sourcing area. You will provide operational excellence and work closely with procurement sourcing associates to execute analysis, system requirements, and process conformance. In this role, you will be the cornerstone to driving procurement category management.

What you'll do



  • Drive the risk management programs for tru fru procurement categories.
  • Continuous improvement of suppliers' performance, and relationship management.
  • Contribute to growth targets via effective support of new product launches.
  • Analyze buying operations program metrics and provide analytic insight to buying category leadership.
  • Ensure continuity of the inbound supply of materials into product manufacturing locations through timely management of inbound quality requirements, including but not limited to forecasting and understanding supplier capacity.
  • Partner with purchasing associates to ensure purchasing contract accuracy, contract adherence, and contract reporting.
  • Support new materials by collaborating with key business stakeholders to verify item set-up accuracy and follow-through in preparation for contract execution.
  • Ensure deployment of Strategic Sourcing Strategy as well as value leadership projects (cost savings projects) in 0-18 months.
  • Deliver various reporting requirements.
  • Represent Commercial in Project Management forums (Innovation) from execution onwards.
  • Ensure timely invoice management, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
  • Deploy Regional Complex implementation projects.
  • Focus on optimizing inbound supply chains to eliminate future potential risks.

You have...



  • Bachelor's / Master's degree with a focus on supply chain management, business, engineering, procurement or operations.
  • 5-7 years practical working experience in supply chain or procurement (Commercial) roles.
  • Excellent understanding of E2E supply chain.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and operational processes.
  • In depth understanding of SRM programs, continuous improvement programs, risk mitigation strategies; procure-to-pay technologies; root cause of demand, price, inventory, and BOM variances; import/export compliance activities, and P&L analysis.
