Your responsibilities

Position Summary: Control of shop floor scheduling and communication of the production schedule.

  • Oversee flow of product through the plant at each operation through daily visual inspection and review of SAP systems
  • Use and continue to improve existing tools such as GTT Fast Pro
  • Responsible for releasing and printing production job packets
  • Ensure all operations have correct production times
  • Monitor and control WIP
  • Issue forging and components to all production orders
  • Maintain hourly vacation log
  • Post delivery notes
  • Advise Production Manager when overtime is needed to support production schedule
  • Provide reports for production control meetings
  • Ensure timely and accurate information is sent to Sales Order Team regarding dates of production
  • Perform physical inventory check of raw material and finished work in process, when required
  • Ensure Quality receives all production information required for certification
  • Other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

  • Three years of related education and/or experience in production scheduling in a manufacturing environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, SAP systems and MES systems

Export Control: This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
