Operations Manager - JLL

What this job involves:

This managerial position provides technical and managerial oversight and leadership of all assigned facilities and their associated systems and infrastructure. You will serve as the single point of contact between the Supplier team and Corporate Real Estate organization for all technical and emergency issues, with main responsibilities including parking structure oversight and uber shuttles for the whole DAHQ campus. This role requires supervision, oversight and assessment of all operations and compliance with processes, procedures, regulations, and client requirements.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Provide technical and managerial oversight of all assigned facilities and infrastructure systems
  • Serve as single point of contact for technical and emergency issues between teams
  • Supervise parking structure operations and uber shuttle services for DAHQ campus
  • Direct maintenance team for repair and maintenance of building infrastructure systems
  • Ensure compliance with all processes, procedures, regulations, and client requirements
  • Manage client contracts for delivery of services provided by other vendors
  • Monitor and assess all facility operations for best-in-class performance

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in facilities operations, maintenance, and engineering management and supervision
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience in technical leadership
  • Subject matter expert knowledge of critical environments, including Data Centers, HVAC, standby emergency power, and UPS systems
  • Extensive knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Building Automation Systems (BMS)
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and email systems
  • Ability to make effective presentations to internal departments, employees, clients, and management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SMA, FMA, RPA, or equivalent certifications
  • Extensive knowledge of energy management and sustainability programs
  • Experience with Building Controls DDC and pneumatic systems
  • Strategic thinking ability with vision for best-in-class critical facilities performance
  • Experience managing vendor and contractor relationships in critical environments
