TEKsystems is seeking a detail-oriented New Business, Merch Operations Specialist for a Global Tech and Entertainment industry leader. The specialist will impact the New Business Revenue team for Latin-Iberia, focusing on US Latin, Mexico, Spain, and Brazil markets. Reporting to the Head of Revenue, New Business, this role sits at the intersection of music, artist merch, retail operations, and fan experiences teams. You'll be responsible for executing our merch operations across multiple markets and supporting the implementation of exclusive product launches. Working directly with your manager and the broader Latin-Iberia team, you'll help bring to life the vision for our merch business while maintaining operational excellence in day-to-day activities.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and operational skills with a passion for music and merch, understanding both the technical aspects of retail operations and the cultural significance of music merch. We highly encourage your to apply if ... * You're passionate about* fan experiences with music and entertainment * and understand the cultural impact of these programs. * You can *analyze performance metrics and manage P&L* to identify growth opportunities and optimize costs. * You're experienced with *product lifecycle planning for consumer products from* conception to launch. * You have experience with *global or international merchandise programs. * *Key Responsibilities* * Execute merch operations including: * Support the mapping and pitching of merch opportunities to artist management and record labels in collaboration with the Merch Business Lead and the Industry Relationships team. * Analyze and manage category P&L, identifying key revenue drivers and opportunities for growth while optimizing costs and operational efficiency. * Build and maintain strategic relationships with vendors. * Manage product lifecycle from conception to launch. * Lead and support the onboarding and implementation of merch programs and physical/vinyl releases across markets. * Generate and maintain detailed performance reports, including sales metrics, inventory levels, and program effectiveness. * Coordinate with marketing and industry teams to ensure amplification initiatives during program launch and ongoing. * Coordinate with industry relationships and artist teams for merch initiative amplification. * Assist in vendor relationship management and day-to-day communications. * Support Artist Direct Touring (Roadie) program implementation and tracking. * Ensure compliance with established processes and timelines across all initiatives. * Maintain regular communication with US and EU merch operation teams for Latin-Iberia global program alignments. * Support the onboarding, implementation, and optimization of Merch on Demand program, including catalog management and performance tracking. * Track inventory levels and forecast needs. *Requirements* * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. * 3-4 years of experience in operations, retail, account management, or music industry. * 2+ years of experience owning program strategy and end-to-end delivery. * Proven track record of communicating results to leadership. * Strong experience leading cross-functional teams and managing change initiatives. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Experience in project/program management and process tracking. * Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. * Demonstrated skill in prioritizing and executing multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines. * Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools. * Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus). *Basic Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree. * 2+ years of demonstrable experience in operational roles. * 1+ years of account management, project management, or buying experience. * Knowledge of retail/e-commerce processes. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Experience in developing and implementing program strategies. * Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Miami, FL. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
