Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Technical Operations Manager in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Stearns Roger Services Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. The SRS Technical Operations Manager performs the planning and execution of fuel handling equipment service operations at customer sites. Your work will include:



  • Provide site support (both from home office or at site) to monitor performance of field technicians, interface with customers, support special projects and support resolution of emergent issues.
  • Ensure readiness of personnel and equipment for field assignments.
  • Provides goals, objectives and standards of performance for field teams.
  • Responsible to prepare and send to customers outage closeout reports to document health of plant equipment and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Use the corrective actions program to implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Counsel and evaluate performance of direct reports and team. Propose wage adjustment or change of status.
  • Works interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships, coordinate deployment of field resources and develop new business.
  • Works on special projects, as directed.
  • Develop proposals and cost estimates to secure future work.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $130,000 - $176,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
