Armed Security Officer - Morning Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Tillery, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This position requires carrying a firearm and driving, as you conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to those on site. You will represent Allied Universal's values by fostering teamwork, acting with integrity, and putting people first while adapting to the dynamic needs of a government setting.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a government setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or unauthorized individuals.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas while remaining alert to unusual activity or conditions.
• Work closely with Allied Universal and client representatives to report and document incidents and security-related concerns.
• Maintain a strong presence while performing armed patrol duties to help to deter potential incidents.
• Follow all required protocols for handling and securing weapons while on duty at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A minimum of six months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
