We are seeking a highly motivated Desktop Support Specialist to join our Enginnering Support team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our employees, providing essential technical assistance and ensuring the smooth operation of their Engineering equipment and software. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining productivity and delivering an excellent user experience across our organization.


  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Manage user accounts and access rights in Active Directory and related systems.
  • Respond to support requests via ticketing system, phone, and in-person channels.
  • Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on IT equipment.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding, including device setup and data handling.
  • Document procedures, solutions, and contribute to the knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with team members and educate users on IT security best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office (O365).
  • Familiarity with macOS and Linux environments is advantageous.
  • Experience with Active Directory, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and VPNs.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting hardware issues across various devices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Desktop Support) are beneficial.
