As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support daily operations within a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and assisting with access control and badge verification. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of all individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and site-specific policies, adapting as needed to the logistics and distribution environment.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries, offering directions, and assisting staff and visitors as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct both scheduled and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to support a secure and welcoming environment within the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
