As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring retail and mall locations, conducting regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents, and remaining highly visible throughout your shift. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities, including property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences within the retail or mall setting.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
• Offer directions, information, and/or assistance to visitors, shoppers, and employees as needed within the retail environment.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency response personnel when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
